Hello,

My name is Dan

I have been into fitness for a number of years now. My passion for fitness came from heading towards my 30s being overweight, unhappy and knowing that I needed to do something about it.
 
I started exercising at a local gym without much direction and saw some changes, but nothing dramatic. It was only when I started using a Personal Trainer myself that I saw some massive changes in my strength, fitness levels and shape. I was hooked! I continue to workout regularly and couldn't imagine not doing so now. I even celebrated my 40th birthday by running 22miles up and over Mount Snowdon!
 
Personal Training:
 
I am a fully qualified Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer. I have additional certificates in Emergency First Aid, Kettle Bell Training, Suspended Movement Training, Boxing Padwork and Barefoot Running Coaching. I am a member of CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport & Physical Activity) and fully insured.
 
Soft Tissue Therapy:
 
I hold the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM) Level 5 Diploma in Sports & Remedial Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy. This is the highest level qualification available in the UK. I undertook my training with the London School of Sports Massage which is headed by Mel Cash; widely recognised as one of the world's leading authorities on Sports Massage Therapy. I am a full member of the ISRM and am fully insured.
 
My aim with Totalfit is to help you make the changes that I have benefitted from myself. Exercise and fitness can be life changing, and more importantly enjoyable! I have found that out and now I want to help you do the same.
