ViPR stands for Vitality Performance Reconditioning. A ViPR is a specifically weighted rubber tube with 3 different handle positions.
The ViPR tube was designed by Michol Dalcourt when he noticed that the high school kids who performed best in sport were those that came from farming backgrounds. He understood that their strength came from day-to-day "loaded movement" such as throwing hay bales, chopping wood and digging. To recreate these patterns of loaded movement, he created the ViPR.
ViPR exercises use a mixture of lifting, shifting and twisting movements combined with the weight of the ViPR. Training with ViPRS will improve agility, balance and strength and because the combinations of movements will work the whole body, they also offer a really high rate of calorie burn.
